Larkbeare Group

Together with NHS Live and NHS South West, Upstream has initiated a pilot 'South West Health Improvement Forum, known to its members as the Larkbeare Group.

The Larkbeare Group brings together senior individuals from diverse disciplines in the South West who are passionare about stimulating improvement in health and social care and ways of working differently in response to changing priorities.

The Group provides a cross-sector forum, without challenging professional roles and agendas, that increases mutual understanding of different ideologies, identifies contradictions an gaps in provision and planning, mentors innovative projects that can effect widespread change, and creates trust to build partnerships.

The Larkbeare Group has been accepted as an NHS Live project. This will link it to other high profile networks throughout the country.
