Larkbeare Group
In partnership with NHS Live, Upstream initiated a South West Health Improvement Forum, known to its members as the ‘Larkbeare Group’. The Group brought together senior individuals from different disciplines who were passionate about stimulating improvement in health and social care and in ways of working differently in response to changing priorities.
The Group provided a cross-sector forum, without challenging professional roles and agendas, that aimed to increase mutual understanding of different ideologies, identify contradictions in provision and planning, mentor innovative projects that could effect widespread change, and create trust to build partnerships.
